I began my fire service career with the Harwich Fire Department in April of 1981 as a dispatcher. During the summers of my sophomore year, I began my fire service career with the Dennis Fire Department.
During the 1991 Gulf War, the Dennis Fire Department was put in command of the Dennis Fire Co. I was assigned to Station 3E. The following year, I went to work full time with the Harwich Fire Department as a dispatcher. During the 1992 Atlanta Superstorm, I was promoted to Lieutenant and was assigned to Station 3F in 1994.
During the 1995 San Francisco earthquake, I was promoted to Captain and was assigned to Station 2G in 1997. I have had the pleasure of working with and training by a talented and dedicated crew of four dedicated firemen. I have known Dave for over 25 years and have a few words of wisdom to impart.
